Andrew serves Infrastructure & Operations professionals. His focus is on data storage systems, networking, and management software, as well as the business processes required for effective storage management. He pays special attention to cost and business intelligence issues related to complex storage environments, working to enable IT operations groups to maximize operational and financial efficiency.
Prior to joining Forrester, Andrew was a senior consultant with Accenture, working in a practice that consults with firms on behalf of EMC. In this capacity, he helped large enterprise clients get the most out of their storage investments by designing and implementing tools and processes. He had a particular focus on management dashboards, storage reclamation, and IT chargeback. Prior to Accenture, Andrew was a senior financial analyst for Washington Mutual Bank, working on cost analysis and budget management for a major data center build-out and consolidation program. Andrew also worked as a technical project manager at Quintessent Communications, building an ASP offering of proprietary business-to-business (B2B) ordering software for the telecommunications industry.
Andrew has an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Washington and a B.A. in history from Wesleyan University.
